5 minute walk story.
It was a Saturday. I was dressed in an orange, sequinced skirt and a button-up, denim top. I had on my feet heeled, cut-off, brown boots that I had bought at the Goodwill for $10. I was very proud of those boots. I was walking in my neighborhood in the Rock Creek area of Hillsboro. It was freezing, so I had a crocheted scarf around my neck in which my host sister from Japan bought me at American Eagle for my seventeenth birthday. Even though I was in Hillsboro, I felt like a total Portlander. The first thing I saw when I stepped out my door to take my walk was the neighbor's dog. Her name is Lucy. She's a black poodle. I snapped a picture of her behind some bushes and went on with my walk. Next, I just took some pictures of some shrubs in my neighbor's yard. one of them had a spider web on it that was all dewy from the rain the previous night. I thought it looked cool, so I took a picture of it. I didn't go far after that. Come to think of it, I just started walking back home. I then took some pictures of trees from the ground up.
